This romantic late 19th century period house was lovingly renovated in authentic style with slate floors, mountain flagstone, beamed ceilings and open fires downstairs and wooden floors upstairs. A modern bathroom was added. The house is situated at the end of a quiet road on half an acre of land with fuchsia hedges, two secluded patios and plenty of play-ground. From the house one has a panoramic view of ocean, Puffin Island and local mountains. St. Finian's Bay is one of the most beautiful bays in Kerry. Central heating and electricity included. Bed linen and towels supplied (not beach towels). Cleaning 35 euro. Turf (if used) 2.50 per wheelbarrow. Acccommodation Kitchen/Dining room: Fully-equipped large open plan kitchen/dining room with feature fireplace, gas hob, microwave/oven, fridge, sandwich maker, toaster. Laundry service available in Community Centre nearby. Sitting room: Small sitting room with feature fireplace, 3 comfortable chairs, one couch, satellite television, radio/cd player. DVD player. Bathroom: Spacious bathroom with bath, electric shower and wash basin. Hall: Hall with swing and swinging rings for small children, beach chairs, airing cupboard, lavatory. Bedroom 1: Spacious bedroom with 2 box spring beds (to be used as double bed or separately) and room for one folding bed. Bedroom 2: 2 box spring beds. Landing: Writing table, room for one folding bed, maps, tourist information, information about the history and archaeology of the area, plenty of English and Dutch literature and reading matter.
