Snow on the mountains all around us and the views from Ashaig beach (thanks for all the insider information) - a beautiful week. Amazing cottage, well equipped and very unique. Love the wood burning stove, we'll be back!

What a fantastic cottage! Really cosy with a great wood burning stove and a shed stocked with wood & coal. The cottage is bang in the middle of the island perfect for exploring but in a quiet traditional crofting village with horses, sheep and chickens. The view from the lounge is onto croft land with the Loch and Isle of Raasay beyond. The view behind is up to the Red Cuillin.
We took walks right out the back door down to Torrin and up onto the Red Cuillin.
We would recommend anyone to come and stay if you want to feel like you are in a traditional stone croft house but with all mod cons. We'll be back!

Thanks again,

Mike & Faith

Just a note to say that our stay in the Croft was just great. What a wonderful setting and a well presented and stocked cottage. A perfect location and base for any kind of holiday on the Isle's. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

All the Best

Barry
