Our cottage, Glan yr afon, is in the picturesque hamlet of Rhodiad y Brenin, 1.5 miles from St David's, and close to the popular Whitesands Bay and other beaches. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is just over a mile away. A perfect spot to quietly base your Pembrokeshire holiday. Glan yr afon was originally a Smithy which can be seen clearly on old maps. Set back from the coastal road there is ample parking with a large front lawn and private rear garden.
The cottage comfortably accommodates eight people with a stone entrance hall with welsh slate floor throughout the ground floor. This leads to the:
Kitchen and dining area which has French windows to the rear garden,
a large lounge with a wood burning stove,
bathroom with basin and W.C. plus:
a shower/utility room with separate W.C.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one king-size double and one twin.
Stairs from the entrance hall lead to two further bedrooms, one king-size double and an L shaped twin.
Glan yr afon is fully equipped with all modern facilities including washer/dryer, central heating, TV & DVD, Wi-Fi, cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and child's cot/highchair.
There are stunning views of Carn Llidi from the secluded and peaceful garden which is to the rear of the property and has a stone built barbecue, picnic table with garden seating available. From here you will witness glorious sunsets!
All bed linen is included in the price and towels are available on request.
Glan yr afon is available all year.
