 Garth House is an 18th Century village house, and enjoys a village location in a 'no through' road. It has walls of brick and cob under a thatched roof, and is set in the Conservation Area of Bere Regis. Carefully restored and refurnished during the period 1999-2001 (which included new bathrooms, kitchen, rewiring, new plumbing and complete redecoration) the house now offers accommodation with the advantages and convenience of modern technology, whilst retaining its original atmosphere and character.
Features Include: Triple zone gas central heating system with mains pressure hot water. Purbeck stone floors to kitchen and hallways with coir carpet to other areas. Two brick fire places with stone floors, oak lintels and wood burning stoves. Upstairs bathroom, downstairs shower room, further cloakroom. Oak beamed ceilings. The village has two Pubs (both serving food), two General Stores, a Post Office, a 24 hour Garage (with shop) and a Doctors' Surgery.
