Gartcarron is a well equipped, warm and comfortable former forestry cottage situated in a beautiful woodland setting on the outskirts of Fintry, a quiet rural village in the Campsie Fells and an ideal base from which to discover the Western and Central Highlands.

There's something for everyone nearby. Forest walks and cycle tracks go from the doorstep and the Loup of Fintry waterfalls are a 10 minute stroll down the road. Activities available locally include boat fishing on the Carron Valley Reservoir, golf, horse riding and quad bike riding.

The ancient town of Stirling with its striking castle is just 12 miles drive over the Gargunnock Hills through beautiful countryside, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs are each about half an hour away whilst Edinburgh and Glasgow take about an hour.
