 Quaint 16th C coaching-house retaining its period features. 1 mile from Oswestry, A5/A483 near tiny church in the country yet near to town. Charming character, cosy comfort, fully equipped. Sunspot, courtyard and gardens. 5 mins walk to canalside inn/food / boats / PO Stores / tearooms, + feed chicks. Llangollen, Welshpool, Chester, Shrewsbury 20/30 mins drive. Very central location.
Accommodation Relax in the cosy lounge, once the original dwelling place but later housed the stable it is now restored with a wealth of exposed beams and stonework, with period furnishings. Very comfortable sofabed available too. The fitted kitchen has a large arched window and is fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge + large icebox, microwave, iron/iron board, washing machine. The winding staircase leads to the 'hayloft' bedroom, large and light with excellent views, quality double and single bed. The spacious bathroom was origianlly the groom's room and has sit-in bath, electric shower and a very unusual winding slate and stone staircase that used to come in from outside. You can feed titbits to Donald Duck and Co. plus the chicks with Rocky the rooster. Many National Trust properties, North and Mid Wales, Ironbridge, Ludlow close - Perfect walking, cycling, horse riding or just relax, perfect any season. Personally managed.
