Garden Bank Cottage is situated 2 miles from Kelso at the end of Cliftonhill Farm with uninterupted views of beautiful, rolling border countryside.

One field away is the River Eden which is a tributary of the River Tweed. The Eden is fenced off with no stock permitted to graze therefore encouraging a great variety of wildlife like kingfishers, owls, families of otters, heron, fieldmice, deer and much more. Along the river is a hectare of wild flower meadow and sunflowers.

Garden Bank Cottage sleeps 4 people. It has a pleasant open plan sitting room with a wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen area and french windows out to decked garden and southerly views over the fields to the Cheviot Hills. Beside the decked area there is an orchard with a summer house and garden seat and sun loungers on the decking.

There is a double room with an en-suite shower room and a twin room with a beautiful tiled shower room + wc. Wheelchair friendly. Ground level.

Cliftonhill Farm is an organic farm. There are seasonal vegetables including asparagus, potatoes, spinach, leeks, onions, tomatoes and herbs. Also strawberries, raspberries and blackcurrants. Also free range eggs. There are also assorted plants which make lovely presents.
