at Kierfiold House is situated at Sandwick in the north west of Orkney's main island. Many of Orkney's key archaeological sites including the Neolithic village of Skara Brae, the Ring of Brodgar and Maeshowe are less than 10 minutes drive away.

(the middle property in the picture) is in the grounds of Kierfiold House, a Victorian dower house built in 1852. The cottage started life as a laundry but has been refurbished to create a calm, comfortable and sunny holiday home. Each room has wonderful views over Orkney's lochs and hills. The cottage benefits from its own private garden and guests are also welcome to wander in Kierfiold House's magnificent walled garden.
