Mark and Pibble Cottages are situated in 1000 acres of tranquillity of The Mark farm, three miles from the village of Creetown on the scenic Solway coastline. The self catering cottages are a perfect base from which to explore this picturesque region and to participate in the many activities it has to offer such as hiking, mountain biking, bird watching or for those who just want to get away from the hustle and bustle to completely relax!
Pibble Cottage (Sleeps 2-6) - Pibble Cottage is scenically situated at the foot of Pibble Hill in remote idyllic surrounds and outstanding views.
- There are three bedrooms (two double and a twin), a bathroom, kitchen, living room with gas fire and as well as central heating throughout.
There is also a large conservatory with sitting and dining facilities - the perfect place to enjoy your morning cup of tea or to watch the beautiful sunsets.
 Mark Cottage (Sleeps 2-5) Mark Cottage enjoys rural peacefulness with unspoilt views of the surrounding Cairnmor and Galloway hills. It has three bedrooms (double, twin and a single), bathroom, kitchen with breakfast bench and a living / dining room with an open fire. There is a lovely sun porch in which to enjoy the quietude and stunning views.
Both cottages are fully equipped, though you are requested to bring your own linen and towels. However, if required, linen can be provided at an extra cost of £10 per person. Baby cot and highchair are also available upon request.
Pets are very welcome as long as they are well behaved in the cottages and that they do not disturb stock or wildlife on the farm.
The Mark farm also offers brown trout fishing on a catch and release basis on Pibble Loch, situated not far from Pibble Cottage.
