 No.1 Mosses Cottage is a pretty two-bedroom holiday cottage in the quiet village of Friston, near Aldeburgh in Suffolk. Set in a quiet, elevated position on the edge of the village, the cottage has been constructed from traditional materials to give a charming period feel. With one double bedroom and a single bedroom, the cottage is suitable for three adults or two adults and a child. A baby cot is also available.  
  • The local area offers a wide range of amenities and activities and there are lovely pubs and restaurants in Aldeburgh and surrounding villages and towns.
  • There is a lot of great walking to be done, bird-watching, golf and other outdoor activities.
  • Other local places of interest include Dunwich, Orford, the Sutton Hoo burial site and much more. The Welcome File in the cottage gives full details.
Accommodation comprises:  
  • Well appointed kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster and washing machine, an ample supply of pans, crockery, glasses and kitchen utensils.
  • The sitting/dining room is situated at the front of the house, with comfortable seating and a dining table with four chairs. TV and a DVD player, open fireplace for real fires!
  • The master bedroom at the back of the house has a five foot double bed, wardrobe and dressing table. TV with video.
  • The second bedroom has one single bed and is suitable for one child or adult. There is a built in wardrobe.
  • Towels and linen supplied for both bedrooms.
  • The oil-fired central heating boiler is very efficient, producing instant hot water and heating the cottage quickly.
  • The garden is safe and enclosed, mainly lawn, with a patio. A secure wooden shed houses patio furniture and is suitable for storage of bicycles. A barbecue is provided.
