Friar's Cottage is a delightful mid-terrace self-catering cottage in Keswick in the northern Lake District. It is located in a quiet area of the town, but is only 5 minutes level walk from the centre. The cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard with extensive use of exposed pine, and is fully equipped to cater for every need. It provides an excellent base for couples or families of up to four to explore the Northern Lake District.
 
Accommodation  Downstairs the cottage has a very comfortable lounge/diner with a widescreen TV and DVD/CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob/oven, microwave and fridge. There is also a separate utility room with dishwasher, freezer, washer/dryer and WC. Upstairs is the main double bedroom which is furnished in attractive pastel shades, a second twin bedded room and a bathroom equipped with an over-bath shower. Both bedrooms have iron bedsteads and quality pine furnishings. The cottage has full gas central heating, hot water supplied by a combi-boiler, and an electric coal effect fire in the lounge. At the back of the cottage is a paved garden area with patio furniture and a barbecue. There is ample on-street parking in a quiet residential area. Normal bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.
Short breaks of 3 nights or more are available from November to March.
