 Foxglove Cottage is situated in the village of Fressingfield. A pretty village close to the Waveney Valley, it has an attractive pub, renowned restaurant, vineyard and an excellent shop. The small market town of Harleston is only minutes away and the coastal resorts of Southwold, Walberswick and Dunwich are about 20 miles away. Framlingham Castle, Wingfield College and gardens, Thornham Walks are all close by. Plenty of fishing and windsurfing are only minutes away.
Foxglove Cottage is a delightful place to stay. Originating from the 16th century and brimming with character. - The cottage has a comfortable beamed sitting room with an inglenook fireplace which has a wood burning stove to provide plenty of warmth and a cosy atmosphere. A comfortable leather sofa and easy chairs, plenty of books, T.V.,video, stereo all there for your enjoyment.
- Next to the sitting room is the kitchen/dining room which has all modern facilities. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine. Dining area has attractive pine furniture with seating for 4 people.
- The bathroom is on the ground floor and is equipped with bath/shower, handbasin and w.c.
- Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other has two single beds. Sloping ceilings with plenty of beams, some quite low, so mind your head!
Outside - Foxglove Cottage enjoys a large garden which is shared by the owner's house.
- There is a duck pond within the garden and care must be taken with small children who will enjoy feeding the ducks and moorhens.
- Garden furniture is supplied so you can relax outside and enjoy the garden.
- There is ample room for parking two vehicles within the garden.
