Glenelg is a beautiful small Highland village on the west coast of Scotland overlooking the Isle of Skye. A 5-car ferry operates between Glenelg and Skye during the summer months. A short distance away, on the road to Arnisdale, a forestry road takes you to Sandaig - perhaps better known as Camusfearna in Gavin Maxwell's book 'Ring of Bright Water'.

Forestry House and Willow Cabin are a 5-10 minute walk from the village and the shore. The nearby Glenelg Inn has a homely bar and restaurant. Vans selling fresh fish and vegetables call at the village during the week.

The house is a Swedish style timber building comprising:
  • 2 double bedrooms.
  • 1 twin bedroom.
  • Large lounge/dining room.
  • Fully equipped kitchen.
  • Bathroom (complete with bath and electric shower).
  • Large garden.
  • Oil central heating throughout.
  • Colour TV, video and dvd.

The new built cabin comprises:

  • Lounge/kitchen (with sofabed).
  • Double bedroom.
  • Bathroom (complete with bath and electric shower).
  • Large veranda.
  • Garden.
  • Electric central heating throughout.
  • Colour TV.

For both Forestry House and Willow Cabin:
Duvet and pillows supplied.
Bed linen available on request.
