Foden's Cottage sits in a secluded spot just 50 yards from the sea in a sheltered bay with its own small harbour.  

• The sea-view living room enjoys outstanding views of Oyster Bay and the famous Twelve Ben mountains (view from cottage pictured below).
• A second living room has a peat burning stove and an adjoining dining area.
• There are two twin bedded rooms - one of which has an additional single bed. Also a double sofa bed in the seaview room plus a single bed in an alcove by the peat stove in the other living room.

This family holiday cottage has oil central heating (free), electric cooker (electricity by meter), microwave, fridge freezer, washing/drying machine, TV & DVD player. There is no telephone - apart from being very relaxing this leaves more time to enjoy bird-watching, walking, fishing, golf etc. (there is a fair signal for mobiles in emergency).

Dogs Bay (pictured above) near Roundstone (10 miles away) is one of several large sandy beaches in the area and, by the way, O'Dowd's bar in town is open practically all day and serves the best seafood chowder and oysters in County Galway!
