Flint Cottage is a charming single-storey holiday cottage in the historic market-town of Saxmundham - just 4 miles from Snape Maltings and 8 miles from the ever-popular seaside town of Aldeburgh, on the unspoilt Suffolk Heritage Coast. A fully-equipped, homely cottage perfect for relaxing holidays all-year round.

Flint Cottage is a pretty period cottage, surrounded by its distinctive white picket fence. Made of traditional Suffolk flint, it dates back to around 1800 and so has many period features. Its a 'town cottage', so conveniently just 5 mins walk to the High Street, for shops/pubs/restaurants. Saxmundham is a small, friendly market-town providing an ideal base for relaxing holidays or short breaks, whether in summer or winter.

One bedroom has a double bed, and the other has a kingsize double. A travel-cot can be provided (free of charge) by advance arrangement.
  • The Courtyard garden is pretty during the spring and summer - with colourful potted plants - particularly perfect for al fresco lunches, a pre-dinner drink on a summer's evening, or lazy mornings with coffee and the newspapers! It has a table and chairs, and a large parasol for very hot days.
