For quiet time there is the Bishops Palace Gardens where you can find peace from the hustle and bustle of the city and Priory Park with its peaceful bowling green, cafe and children's activities. There are lovely side streets to discover too and many cafes and restaurants for all tastes. The Novium Museum is also a great place to visit, outlining the Roman history of the district. It is a city with a hustle and bustle of a city twice its size.
