This recently converted (January 2005) fisherman's cottage is situated in the small village of North Kessock on the north shore of the Beauly Firth and just a short drive from the Highland capital of Inverness. It was originally used by fishermen as a drying house for the nets and has been renovated to a very high standard. - The open plan design of the sitting room, kitchen and attic area creates a light and spacious atmosphere which is enhanced by the superb views across the Beauly Firth and the mountains of the west coast.
- Dolphins are frequently spotted in the water here where the Moray and Beauly Firths meet and what better way to watch for them than to sit in the garden with a glass of wine and the sun setting. There is even a Dolphin and Seal Centre here where you can find out all about them and listen to them 'talking' by using the hydrophones provided.
- As there is a regular bus service from North Kessock to Inverness it is possible to have a day in the city without taking the car and there are a wealth of restaurants to choose from if you wish to eat out.
- The village offers a tea shop, pub, grocery store and play park. There is parking next to the house.
Accommodation: Sitting room with wood burning stove. Sky TV. Kitchen. Utility room. Drying room. Bathroom with power shower over bath. Double bedroom with dressing area (and a double sofa bed). Stairs leading up from the sitting room to an attic twin bedroom and lounge area with day bed.
