Chestnut Lodge is next to a dairy farm, is newly renovated to a high standard and has wheel chair access with all rooms on one level. There is off road parking for 2 cars.

There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with king size bed and en suite shower room and 1 with twin beds and a large wet room. A cot and highchair are available.
The modern well equipped kitchen has a fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oven.
There is a 32" digital television and DVD player in the spacious living room which has spectacular views across rolling countryside towards the Mendip Hills. Patio doors open onto an enclosed paved and grass area with seating.
Solar panels provide plentiful hot water and central heating.
Electricity is included.
Towels and bedding are provided but please bring beach towels.

Location

The property is well situated for exploring the delights of the West Country. The small town of Axbridge with its medieval market square and timbered buildings is 3 miles away. Next is Cheddar and its famous gorge and caves.
England's smallest city, Wells, is nearby and Glastonbury, Bath and Bristol are all within easy reach.
To the west are the broad sandy beaches of Weston super Mare and Burnham on Sea.
The Bath and West showground at Shepton Mallet hosts a wide variety of events.
For walkers there are numerous scenic routes over the Mendips and Quantocks as well as many more level pathways.
Stourhead Gardens, Wookey Hole caves with the famous witch, Longleat Safari Park, Haynes Motor Museum and the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton are all within easy distance.
For shopaholics Clark's Village at Street is nearby.
Isle of Wedmore golf course 2 miles away.

Change-over day is Friday and we are happy to negotiate rates for shorter stays.
