Fran has done a fabulous job with the chalet - home from home! Couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon (setting)- tranquil and beautiful. We loved the resident otter and heron in the bay in front of the chalet.

At last we saw our otter! We have had a lovely few weeks with lots of sunshine and relaxing. With the spring tides we even got to walk out to the little island across the sandbank and saw starfish and collected shells. All home comforts as usual, many thanks on this our 5th visit.

How do you start to describe this location and cottage when it is all so fantastic. So much wildlife on your doorstep, even a pine marten on the hillside. Sadly did not see the otter but saw everything else!

FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
Bathroom: Shower over bath
Kitchen: solid ring electric cooker with oven and grill, large refridgerator with small freezing compartment, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, food processer, automatic washing machine.
Bedding: duvets, two pillows per person, sheet,duvet cover, pillowcases, fleecy bed throws. (No towels supplied unless by prior arrangement)
Living Room: satellite tv (free to view only), video recorder,dvd player, mini hifi/cd player, pay phone, Wi-Fi connection.
Heating: off peak storage radiators and convector heater
Furniture, crockery, cutlery and utensils to suit six occupants.
Sun deck: garden table and chairs, small barbeque, wooden bench seat.
RENTALS.
Please see table for rates throughout the letting season from late March to early November.
A deposit of £50 per week is payable at time of booking, with the balance due six weeks before holiday dates.
Total quoted is for up to 4 persons. Add £20 per person for additional numbers.
Rental includes:
Bed linen, electricity and heating.
Please note: towels are not provided, except for overseas visitors or by arrangement.
Letting periods are Saturday to Saturday: guests are asked to arrive after 4.00pm, and depart by 10.00- 10.30am.

PETS
£10 surcharge.
One dog is permitted, and must be notified at time of booking. The dog should be confined to the ground floor open plan area or hall, and excluded from the bedrooms and first floor, and at no time should be left unattended in the chalet. There are frequently sheep ranging freely in the surrounding area, and dogs should be kept on the leash at all times, and exercised well away from the property.
LOCAL INFORMATION
Shops; Co-op supermarket at Broadford (12 miles) and Kyle of Lochalsh (16 miles), other shops at Armadale, including convenience store (8 miles).

Petrol: Broadford(24 hours) Armadale Mon.-Fri.(9.00-5.30)
Post Office: Teangue (5 miles)
Restaurants, bars: Hotels with these facilities can be found at IsleOrnsay, Teangue, Armadale, Broadford.
Travel to Ord:
Arrive on Skye via road bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh, or by ferry from Mallaig to Armadale.
From the bridge, take the A850 road signposted Portree and Broadford, and after 6 miles, at Breakish, turn left on to the A851, signposted Armadale.
Ord(Al t-Ord)is signposted from this road after 10 miles, 5 miles north of Armadale, and the last lap is a 4 mile single track road with twists, turns and hills!
By Ferry from Mallaig to Armalade - follow the A851 for 5 miles to the Ord junction.
