The farm is located between the sea and Dinas village. Take the road to Pwllgwaelod (off the main road A 487) in the centre of Dinas. Follow the road, keeping to the left, until you get to Bryn-hennlan. Take a sharp left (where Pwllgwaelod is signpost to the right) and follow the winding road for about 300 metres. Look for the sign for Ffynnonofi farm, it is on your right. Follow the track for a quarter of a mile and you are there.
Ffynnonofi farm site - Ffynnon is welsh for spring and the farm has used its own water for generations. Legend has it pilgrims stopped off at the spring on their way to St David's.
- The farm is accessed by its own long track providing privacy and seclusion and both the farmhouse and stables have acres of space for children to play and explore.
- There are swings in the woods, a stream, an old millwheel, farm ruins, a basketball net and dramatic views from different parts of the site.
- We ask visitors, and parents in particular, to take special care on and around the coastal paths, as the cliffs are very steep and often unprotected. Care should also be taken around the ruins and old farm machinery.
- The site is surrounded by sheep and in April and May the place is alive with spring lambs. The farm site is maintained by Johnny who lives in the Coachhouse. He is around to hand over keys and make sure you have enough wood for the stove.
- Dinas village is only a 10 minute walk away for food essentials, pub and fish and chip shop.
