Primrose Cottage and The Cabin are hidden away in a peaceful haven facing south in lovely gardens on what was once a large country estate on the edge of Dartmoor. They are some 3 miles from the village of Buckfastleigh, which is adjacent to the A38 between Exeter and Plymouth. This provides easy access to the many tourist attractions, beaches and craft centres in the area. Enjoy the peace and tranquility after a busy day sightseeing or just relax and unwind at your leisure. Escape the rat race!

Accommodation The cottages are very comfortable and welcoming, both being very well equipped, tastefully decorated and well maintained with homely touches. Colour TV, DVD, radio, microwave, etc. Primrose Cottage, adjacent to Pine Lodge, has lounge with door to patio and enclosed garden, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and upstairs, 2 bedrooms. The Cabin is on the ground floor with kitchen/diner, lounge with door to decked verandah, two bedrooms (one with sleeping platform) and bathroom. Woodburner. The Cabin is on its own surrounded by lawns. Both cottages have the use of our gardens which include unusual features and bonsai! Each cottage has its own garden furniture and barbecue. We have an abundance of bird life and provide bird feeding stations. Plenty of private parking. Bed linen, gas and electricity provided and beds made up for arrival. Location - The cottages are five minute's walk from the Moor itself and a timeless sanctuary from the pressures of everyday life. Two Moors Way passes here.
- Adjacent to the Moor, we also have 20 acres of fields, woods, stream and marsh which you can use. In the Spring, see the bluebells.
- A haven for wildlife - foxes, badgers, deer, hares and bats and, of course, rabbits! Some 50 species of birds sited at various times.
