"We had a lovely time in Appletreewick and, on arrival, the sun was there to greet us! I had forgotten how beautiful the surroundings are. We went swimming nearly every day and used the rope swing to take a plunge! The cottage was fine and we were very pleased with the well equipped kitchen."

�The cottage is excellent; once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The new kitchen is great what a difference it has made. The cottage is warm and comfy and clean (as usual) we love our stay.
Location is perfect for visiting surrounding areas, lots to do. A must for anyone wanting a Wharfedale holiday. We will be booking again for next year our 3rd visit.

"The four of us found a really nice and comfortable home for a week in the beautiful landscape of Wharfedale.
It has been a very pleasant time and we enjoyed to sit in the dining room in the evening talking, writing postcards or playing cards. Some times we enjoyed going to one of the village pubs for a pint."

"Well enjoyed the cottage so much that I would love to buy it! I am serious. Everything was great comfy, homely just what I wanted. Clean and well stocked, lots of coal which was excellent thanks really loved doing a fire again.
The cottage is in an ideal location for all of the dales really. We went to Linton falls, Grassington, Pately bridge, Asygarth falls, Brimham rocks, Leyburn, Ripon to name a few. In fact we wanted to do more but ran out of time.
We would love to return. Any free weeks later this year? I will book for next year anyway."

was anything that really needed improving. The facilities were good. The bedrooms clean and comfortable. I'd certainly recomend it and may think about staying again at some point in the future."
