Felin Parc Mill Cottages, located 6 miles from Portmadog within the Snowdonia National Park, provide superb self-catering holiday accommodation in a range of beautiful 17th century stone woollen mill buildings. The cottages enjoy an idyllic riverside setting overlooking waterfalls and pools, together with some spectacular mountain views.

Accommodation:
The range of accommodation, ideal for either couples or large family groups of up to 16 people, comprises:  

• Felin Park Millhouse (sleeps max 8).
• Penfelin Granary (sleeps 2).
• Tan-y-Clogwen (sleeps 4 / 6).

A beautiful converted woollen mill, which was in active production up to the turn of the 19th century for weaving of Welsh blankets and cloth. Although the original water wheel and machinery no longer exist, the mill leat now drives an unusual iron Pelton wheel. The Mill retains much of its original ambience and is furnished in traditional Welsh style. The accommodation now provides:

Downstairs  

• Comfortable furnished large character beamed living room/dining room with wood burning stove.
• Well equipped kitchen.
• WC/cloakroom.
• Ground floor bedroom 4 with double bed and en-suite shower/wc room.

Upstairs  

• Master Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds, Bedroom 3 with two single beds.
• Bathroom with bath, overhead shower, WC & wash basin.

The Millhouse sleeps a maximum of 8 persons. A heavily beamed and open plan old granary (Penfelin) just behind the Mill provides additional self contained overflow accommodation to the Millhouse. The Millhouse and Penfelin Granary enable a maximum total of 10 persons to stay. The granary may also be booked separately from the Millhouse.

Perched just above the river, this charming unspoilt small Welsh cottage was originally built for the wool manager of the mill. The accommodation, ideally for 4 persons, now comprises:

Downstairs:  

• Cosy character beamed living room with log burning stove.
• Kitchen.
• Separate dining/living room with double sofa bed that allows for 2 extra persons (if required).
• Bathroom with bath and shower, and WC.

Upstairs:  

• Master bedroom (with double bed) and bedroom 2 (with 2 single beds).

Facilities and Services  

• Logs /fuel for log burning stoves provided free.
• Electricity included in rental.
• Bed Linen (for duvets) and towels to be provided by tenants.
• Pets and smokers allowed.
• Childs cot and high chair available.
• Weekly lets start Saturdays, and short breaks available.
• Village shop and excellent pub 1 mile. Tesco supermarket (in Porthmadog) 6 miles.
• Each cottage has its own garden and terrace overlooking river.

Location  

• Superb riverside location with lovely waterfalls and pools to be explored up the Croesor valley.
• Close to top attractions: Portmeirion (4 miles), Ffestiniog railway (5 miles), Llechwedd slate caverns (6 miles), Bodnant gardens (30 miles), Snowdon (8 miles).
• Fishing for wild trout in Croesor river allowed.
• Excellent sandy beaches (6 miles).
