March '12 Patrick and I had a truly amazing stay at the Mill. It was stunning. We walked, ran, mountain biked and then collapsed in a tired heap in front of the fire with glass of wine. Likes - the quirkiness, the seclusion & peace. A sense of history. Arranging the booking could not have been more straight forward. All queries were readily answered and directions easy to follow.Arriving in the dark and opening the door was a real wow factor. We thought the mill & the setting was stunning. It was cosy and a perfect place to celebrate a quiet 40th without the kids!
Feb.'12 We know the mill and because we have stayed 3 times before. The ambience of the house is fantastic and looking out of the window or standing on the terrace watching the river is incredibly relaxing. We will probably be back next year again. A holiday in winter is just brilliant and the walks that can be done in the hills around the mill are great ( even at my advanced age!)
Nov.'11 Thanks for having us at your wonderful cottage. We had a really great time and will be recommending it to friends
Oct.'11 I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you so much for the use of your property this week.It is such a delightful building and fantastic place and so thoughtfully renovated to include many of the original features and so well stocked with useful maps and books! My daughter and I had a lovely few days, due in part to some excellent weather and great walking, but also to come back to the Mill and listen to the water and trees and relax in front of the fire and try and explain again to an eight year old how a watermill works!
July'11 We just wanted to say thank you for a lovely week's holiday at your cottage. It was so peaceful, interesting and beautiful. You have made a wonderful job of restoring it and we loved the way it was surrounded by trees and the river. We have never been to South Wales before and thought it was gorgeous.
October'10 The kitchen was particularly small, from what I remember, but had everything it needed (the view out to the river was fab) but the hatchway sounds like a good idea. We would consider staying there again, but do not have any immediate plans this year.I will of course recommend it to friends and family to stay in as it was a delightful cottage and we loved the wildlife.
