We are sure that our self catering holiday cottages will provide you with a memorable holiday. The cottages have been renovated from historical mining buildings into large, spacious holiday cottages, set within the one acre grounds of a Cornish Tin Mine Engine House.

Wheal Rose is a quiet village in the heart of the tin mining area of Cornwall.
There is an endless choice of spectacular beaches and impressive coastline to discover locally and the cottages are centrally located for visiting various places of interest from Lands End to the Eden Project.
Our local beaches are Chapel Porth (beach on photo above) Porthtowan, Trevaunance Cove and Portreath. All are vast sandy bathing/surfing beaches, with lifeguards in attendance during the Summer months.

Accommodation

Each cottage sleeps 6 persons in three bedrooms (two twin rooms and one double room), two bathrooms, one with separate shower, an open plan lounge/dining room with TV, DVD, Freeview Box and a fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, dish washer and fridge.
BROADBAND available FOC.
One Cottage has been designed for wheelchair access from the car park to the lounge/dining/kitchen/ground floor twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom area. (Wheelchair user must be accompanied by an able bodied person).
The extensive one acre grounds provide plenty of space for children to play and is surrounded by a Cornish stone wall with a gate. The cottage also has a patio area with table, chairs and a BBQ.
Electricity, heating, bed linen included in Tariff.
Laundry facilities (coin operated).
Car park for 2+ vehicles.
Winter short breaks are available from November to April at £80 per cottage per night (excluding Xmas, New Year, Half Term, Easter weeks).

Changeover day is Saturday. The cottage is available from 3pm and should be vacated by 10am the Saturday your holiday ends. These times are also applicable to Winter short breaks.
