The suites are within a property situated in a most enviable position on the tree covered hillside above Grasmere in Central Lakeland. It has a large natural woodland garden bounded by a tumbling stream, and is perfectly situated for walking, being on the direct route to Greenhead Ghyll and Alcock Tarn. It is a tranquil spot, on a cul de sac off the main road and has views to Easedale and Silver Howe.
Grasmere village is half a mile away and Wordsworth's Dove Cottage and Rydal Mount are within walking distance. The beautiful walks around Rydal Water and Grasmere Lake are accessible from the property.
There are three suites to accommodate two persons each.
Elderbeck House has a triple aspect sitting room with stunning views over the garden towards Helm Crag, Seat Sandle, Dow Bank and the surrounding countryside. Digital TV with DVD player. The double bedroom has twin beds, next to a fully tiled shower room with three piece white suite, with shower, WV, pedestal, wash basin. There is a spacious kitchen diner with lovely dual aspect windows. View towards Helm Crag, Seat Sandle and across the garden towards fields and countryside. The fully fitted kitchen includes four ring electric hob double oven and integrated fridge.
Elderbeck suite has a comfortable sitting room with aspects on 3 sides, one of which is the entrance patio window leading to a garden patio. The other windows overlook the garden and the local hills. TV and DVD player. There is a double bedroom (king size bed), fully tiled bathroom, with bath and shower with gold fittings, and a small kitchen with full sized cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle etc.
Hollybeck suite is also for 2 persons, having a large sitting room with a door leading to the patio and garden, twin bedroom, also with a door to the garden, tiled bathroom with bath and shower, and a fully fitted kitchen. All the units are tastefully furnished, considerable care being given to give a luxurious feel with co-ordinated fabrics with matching and toning lamps and shades.
The central heating is programmed to stay on all day and evening whether the premises are occupied or not, but visitors can control it using the radiators. If the premises had not been occupied the previous week they are warm and comfortable for new arrivals.
Prices are inclusive of heating and bed linen.
There is a large garage and parking places within the grounds.
