Berwick upon Tweed is a lovely town to explore with its Elizabethan walls and many houses of architectural interest and alleyways to delight and intrigue.  

• This is the perfect base to explore the Northumberland Heritage Coast with its picturesque coastal fishing villages and also the Scottish Borders including St Abbs and Kelso.
• We are only 45 mins by train to Edinburgh for a wonderful day out in this beautiful city without the need of a car.
• We are within a half hour drive of Holy Island and Bamburgh.
• With Alnwick just 28 miles away you can visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens, where you will find the largest tree house in the world!
• The river Tweed offers salmon fishing and there are many beautiful walks both from Edward House and within a short distance.
• Golf courses and golden sandy beaches are nearby and there are many Castles and Historic Homes to visit within easy driving distance.
• Shops, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Accommodation
The house is furnished to a luxury standard and offers versatile accommodation on three floors.  

• On the ground floor a spacious hall leads to two bedrooms, one double and one with a large sofabed, together with a shower room and a utility room with washer/dryer, microwave and kettle. This could offer independent accommodation if required.
• The first floor open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen is light and airy with views over Berwick's three bridges to Halidon Hill beyond. The kitchen is very well equipped including fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, electric cooker, gas hob and coffee machine. The dining table seats six to eight.
• A TV and DVD player with a large selection of DVD's, CD's, books and games are available for guests.
• On the second floor there are two beautifully furnished bedrooms, 1 double and one twin and a bathroom.
• All heating, electricity and gas is included.
• Beds are all very comfortable with good quality bed linen and soft fluffy towels.
• A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available.
• Outside there is a secluded seating area with garden furniture and BBQ.
• There is a private allocated parking space.
