Spacious and homely
Eden Cottage has four bedrooms, one double, one twin, one single, and one with a large cot. The kitchen is large and well equipped, with ceramic hob cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, automatic washing machine and tumble drier. There is also a separate dining room and two public rooms, one with colour TV, video, DVD player and HiFi.
The adjacent garage and drive provide parking for two cars.
Children are welcome, and there's plenty of room to play in the large, secluded, walled garden.
Prices are inclusive of linen (except for towels), electricity, gas (central heating), and logs for the open fire. Towels included for overseas visitors.
Situated in the quiet Fife village of Ladybank, a few minutes drive from the market town of Cupar, Eden Cottage is convenient for trains calling at Ladybank Station, giving easy access to Edinburgh, Dundee and Perth.
Places to visit include the East Neuk fishing villages and the mediaeval university town of St.Andrews with its cathedral, castle, museums, golf courses, beaches, swimming pool, Sea Life Centre, etc. Nearby is Falkland Palace, a favourite of Mary Queen of Scots, and Rankeilour Park, home of the Scottish Deer Centre.
Ladybank Golf Course is used for qualifying rounds when the Open is at St.Andrews, and St.Andrews, Perth and Dundee are all within 30 minutes drive.
The Kingdom of Fife with its many historic sites and its strong tradition of hospitality is easily reached by road and rail over the famous Forth bridges from the south and the Tay bridge from the north. Edinburgh airport is only a few miles away and Glasgow is within an hour's drive.
