 East Kirkland is set apart from the hustle and bustle of busy roads yet the nearby town of Wigtown (Scotland's National Book Town) and its shops are only a 10 to 15 minute walk away. The farm is situated in an idyllic spot overlooking Wigtown Bay nature reserve and the Galloway Hills and is an ideal location for cycling, walking, golf, or visiting gardens, historic sites and beaches.
The courtyard
We have 5 cottages that sleep from 2 to 6, but for groups, or family and friends up to 18 can be catered for. There is a covered heated swimming pool, (April through September), a games barn and an outdoor play area with swings for young children.

1 Ground floor bedroom (1 double, 1 single) + sofabed. "The Garden" now upgraded has separate bedroom.
Barn cottage:
1 bedroom upstairs with 1 double and 2 single beds.
Stables:
2 ground floor bedrooms - 1double and 2 bunks, + bed-settee.
Granary:
2 ground floor bedrooms - 1 double and 2 bunk beds.
Rose cottage:
3 ground floor bedrooms - 1 double, 2 singles and 2 bunk beds.
