Earnknowe was a small farm and is set amidst the mountains of the Southern Highlands facing South over Loch Earn.
It is an ideal centre for touring, walking, cycling, golfing, fishing, watersports and many other activities. The village with a shop, Post Office and a selection of places to eat and drink, is within easy walking distance.
Our accommodation was award winner of 'Simply the Best' in the self-catering category.
Arran, Bute and Cumbrae
Our ancient stone barn was converted into three fully insulated cottages, each with two bedrooms (double and twin), a bathroom (bath with shower) and a large living room with an archway leading to a fully-fitted kitchen.
Kintyre
A single storey cottage with a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a large living room with kitchen area.
Mull
A single storey cottage - timber clad with slate roof, built in 2002. It has two bedrooms (double and twin), generous size bathroom (with shower). Wheelchair access. Stunning views.
Each of these cottages has: A woodburner (except Mull), electric heaters, colour TV. Linen is provided and towels may be hired. Parking is close to the accommodation. Well behaved pets are welcome, but please check with us first. We have a jetty with a small boat for hire. Launching and mooring of your own boat can be arranged.
