Dunlappie is just a 15 minute walk from the picturesque village of Edzell in Angus. In the village you will find a good selection of shops, cafes, hotels and a large play area for children. There are two golf courses and a driving range nearby. Within walking distance from the cottage you can discover Edzell Castle or the dramatic scenery along the banks of the North Esk gorge. This cottage is a perfect base for those wishing to explore Angus by bicycle with a network of scenic country roads and rural villages. The Angus Glens offer varied hill walking routes and are just a short drive away. Three of the most beautiful beaches of the east coast are within 15 miles.

Accommodation  
  • Dunlappie Garden Cottage provides flexible self catering accommodation for up to 6 guests with a double room a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge.
  • The lounge has freeview TV, a DVD player with a selection of DVDs, a wood burning stove and a variety of books and games.
  • There is one double bedroom and one twin room.
  • All linen and towels are included.
  • There is a shower room with electric shower.
  • The kitchen/dining area has seating for 6 and includes a washing machine, fridge (with freezer box), electric hob and oven and a microwave.
  • Logs are provided for both stoves in the lounge and bedroom. The cottage also has central heating. All fuel costs and logs included in the rent.
  • Children are welcome and a cot and high chair are available on request.
Outside  
  • The large garden has benches, a picnic table, an outside drying area and a selection of outdoor games provided.
  • The secure garage is useful for storing golf equipment, kayaks, prams or bicycles.
