 Situated on a working four hundred acre beef and dairy farm with a superb elevated location with magnificent panoramic views of the sea and the rolling countryside stretching to Galloway hills and beyond. - Dundrum cottage is a mile south of Port Logan, the setting for the BBC drama series, two thousand acres of sky.
- With lovely sandy beaches, botanic gardens, sea and fresh water fishing and countryside walks, this beautiful corner of Dumfries and Galloway in South West Scotland is an ideal choice for a self catering family holiday.

 
 Accommodation This detached cottage is designed all on one level and offers luxurious accommodation for up to eight or ten guests. It is beautifully finished with tasteful furnishings and decoration. - A spacious vestibule with coat stand and lots of space for all your walking and wellie boots, leading in to the hall. Here, you will find a large dresser containing lots of brochures and information to help you enjoy your holiday.
- The kitchen has a beautiful finish with oak cabinets and all appliances you might require. The farmhouse table comfortably seats ten and is positioned in front of a large, low window that was designed to allow you to enjoy the views when dining.
- Plus a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
- The four bedrooms comprise a master suit with king size bed and ensuite shower room, a double room with ensuite shower room and a twin room, and a bunk-room with adult bunk beds. A Z-bed can be added to the bunk room. A sofa bed allows you to increase the sleeping capacity from eight to nine or ten, if desired.
 - The family bathroom is finished to the highest standard. It has a bidet and a large double-ended Spa bath with underwater lighting and cushion head rests at both ends.
- To the front of the cottage is the light and airy living area with comfy sofas, wood burning stove, large plasma 42" screen , DVD and sky TV (has children's movies, discovery package. The music system has an ipod connection. Leading through to the most stunning room with the constantly changing sky and seascape will keep you enchanted for hours, so what could be more relaxing than sitting in the comfortable Garden room sipping a glass of wine and watching the sun go down.
- Outside there is a large enclosed garden with ample parking. The patio outside the Garden room has furniture and a barbecue for al fresco dinning.
- A ramp for access at the rear of the cottage makes this property a suitable choice for the less mobile.

Location The picturesque village of Port Logan is situated along the gulf stream drift offering some of the best weather along the west coast. Nearby Mull of Galloway - Scotland's most southerly point, the Mull has a RSPB reserve with visitors centre and a fantastic restaurant.
