Dragonfly is a late eighteenth century cottage in the middle of the Broadland village of Ludham. It is a perfect base for exploring the broads and there are countless places to visit nearby. The coast is approx 6 miles away and the area is ideal for walking, boating and bird watching.
Ludham has an excellent village shop with a delicatessen, bakery, post office and newsagent. There is also a teashop, florist, butcher, pub, garage, and facilities for hiring boats, bikes and canoes. Stalham (5 miles) and Wroxham/Hoveton (7 miles) have supermarkets, banks etc. Norwich, with its fine buildings, museums, extensive shopping services and many restaurants, cafes and pubs is less than fifteen miles away.

Accommodation The cottage sleeps four comfortably but also has a single sofa bed in the sitting room for an extra guest. Ground floor: sitting room with wood burning stove (TV, freeview, DVD, CD/ radio); kitchen, with dining table, radio, washing machine, microwave; modern shower room. 1st floor: two interconnecting double bedrooms reached by an original (steep) kite-winder staircase. Bedroom 2 has an extra thick futon. There is a small, sheltered courtyard garden, with furniture for outdoor meals. Dragonfly Cottage has a welcoming, homely atmosphere. When you arrive the beds will be made up and a tea tray will be in the kitchen, with milk in the fridge. There are several books and leaflets with information about the area and places to visit.
