 Located down a quiet country lane, Down Oak Cottage is the perfect rural retreat yet is in a short driving distance to beaches, shops, theatres and restaurants.

Accommodation
The single storey building is made up of two units which may be rented together to provide two double beds and a bathroom and shower room, or the main unit may be rented alone. (The smaller unit is not rented separately.)

The larger unit has:  
  • Open plan living/dining area divided from the well equipped kitchen by a breakfast bar.
  • French windows lead out onto a secluded garden area which overlooks adjoining fields with views across to the South Downs.
  • A barbecue and table and chairs are provided.
  • The pretty relaxing bedroom is next to the bathroom which has a bath and overbath shower.
  • The main unit has TV, VCR, DVD, Hi Fi and a selection of DVDs and CDs.
The smaller unit has:  
  • A bed/sitting room with the sleeping area divided from the living area by a low half wall.
  • There is a shower room and WC.
  • The small unit has TV, Hi Fi and breakfast making facilities.
  • The small unit has its own entrance door and a connecting door into the main unit.
Features and Facilities:  
  • Electric panel heating and each unit has a fuel effect stove.
  • All accommodation is on one level and there are handles by bath and shower.
  • Parking right outside the door makes the cottage easily accessed by our less mobile guests.
  • Guests are welcome to use our swimming pool and sun deck by arrangement.
  • Beach towels are provided.
  • Bicycles available.
  • All linen, towels, electricity and gas included in price.
  • Laundry service.
    Welcome pack of local produce including English wine on arrival.
  • Sorry no pets. (We have friendly cats).
  • Sorry not suitable for young children because of open water on land.
  • Strictly no smoking.
