Dove Cott is on a small working family farm in the Dartmoor National Park. The accommodation is very spacious. Entrance is through a double glazed porch ideal for coats and boots. I Double bedroom, lounge, Kitchen Bathroom with shower, lovely sunny garden. The accommodation has electric night storage heating and electric effect wood burner. The ground floor annexe is fully equipped with quality furnishings and equipment. Linen and towels are supplied free of charge.  Little Barton Farm is situated in the catchment area between the Dart and Teign Rivers, a unique area of the moor with picturesque moorland villages set in deep wooded valleys, such as Chagford, Lustleigh and Widecombe close by. The ancient stannery town of Ashburton is just 2 miles away with traditional butchers, bakers, and grocery shops selling a wealth of local produced goods. Excellent country pubs and restaurants are also nearby.
Sue and Rob Small run the small mixed farm with Red Ruby Cattle, Poll Dorset Sheep, Berkshire Pigs and a mixture of poultry. A small farm shop is situated on the farm selling free range eggs, home produced meats and local produce.
Sue and Rob are both born and bred in Devon and have a wealth of local knowledge of the south Dartmoor area and places of interest; we will be only to pleased to advise you on places to visit.
Why not take a trip down the beautiful Dart Valley Primrose Line Steam Railway to Totnes, and then on to Dartmouth by leisurely River Boat to explore the historic Town and coastline. Our brochure will give you more ideas of places to visit and help you get a feel for the local area.
