Dovecote Cottage is excellently situated on the edge of the village with stunning views over Dunstanburgh Castle and Golf links, and Embleton Bay - a beautiful sweep of sandy beach and rock pools. The village post office and shop, three pubs and hotel are just minutes walk.

The three bedroom single storey home is converted from two stone quarry cottages owned by a local village family through several generations. It combines old and new, with an ancient dovecote behind and an original range in the living room, but with modern heating, kitchen and bathroom facilities.

The area is designated one of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' and offers fine beaches, beautiful coastal and hill walking, historic castles and country houses (Alnwick Castle and Gardens six miles), many links and inland golf courses, fishing, boating and watersports etc.

The Accommodation comprises:

Large living room with open fire range, double, twin and single bedrooms (a Z-bed and cot are also available), fitted kitchen, and a bathroom with bath/shower and heated floor.
There is a private parking area for two cars, and an enclosed grassed rear garden.
The cottage is a non-smoking home.

Facilities include:

Electric central heating, open fire, twin ovens/hob/extractor, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/drier, dishwasher, digital colour TV, DVD and Video players, CD/hi-fi, telephone landline (by arrangement).
All linen, towels and services included in rental.

The cottage is available throughout the year.
Bookings are weekly for Friday to Friday during high/mid seasons, but short breaks may be available at quieter times.
