A secluded two-bedroomed cottage in a picturesque village on the edge of rolling Yorkshire moorland, with full central heating, log fire, beamed ceilings, television, video, superb views, peace, quiet and privacy.
Children are welcome. It's available all year round by the week or for long weekend breaks.
DOVE COTTAGE is a detached stone-built building, originally a coach house, stables and dovecot (hence the name), in a secluded part of the village, overlooking fields. The main bedroom has a double and a single bed; the second bedroom has two single beds, and there is a double sofa-bed in the living room.
There's an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, bath, shower, TV/video, CD/tape-player, shelves of books, games and puzzles for all ages, patio, garden, barbecue, and car parking.
Barningham is midway between Swaledale and Teesdale, ideal for exploring the hills and dales of Yorkshire and Northumbria. There's a tiny pub in the village, and many others are within easy reach, serving snacks and full meals.Golf, tennis, squash, badminton, swimming, fishing and riding are all within a few miles. Nearby towns have a wide variety of retail, antiques and craft shops, theatres and cinemas, and excellent restaurants.
