 Located close to the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, (the most Westerly point of the British Isles), Portuairk is a most delightful Crofting Township. This small community has a long seafaring tradition, the name Portuairk was originally Port-na-Gruaigean.
Kilchoan, is approx. 5 miles away; here there is a fully licensed hotel, community centre, children's play park, and village shop with post office. Also there is a regular car ferry service to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, where there are plenty of eating places and shops to enjoy.
Dondies Cottage is a very cosy, fresh, modern, fully equipped conversion of a byre. Ideal for a couple to enjoy stunning and panoramic views of the Small Isles and Skye, from the comfort of the living room through the large patio doors. Five minute walk will take you to lots of sandy beaches and for the more adventurous you can walk to Sanna Beach. - All on ground floor with laminated wooden flooring throughout: open plan kitchen and lounge with dining area and multi-fuel stove.
