Dolwilym Estate is a perfect hideaway for artists, writers, academics, musicians, groups of friends, families in search of adventure and other creative sorts. The perfect cottage retreat deep in the welsh countryside.

Accommodation

Dolwilym is down a country track occupying an area of around 7 acres.
Each building had a specific purpose when the property was run as an estate in Victorian times.
The Cuckoo House (photo on right), which is the remaining part of the original mansion and The Old Bakery which used to be part of the servants' quarters.
Owned by Giles Chaplin, who has run an antique and architectural salvage business for the last forty years, Dolwilym is a beautiful Victorian estate with original features and bizarre sculptures and architectural objects scattered about the place.
This Estate is a perfect hideaway for artists, writers, academics, musicians, groups of friends, families in search of adventure and other creative sorts.

Services

Bed linen and towels provided.
Fuel and oil included in the price. Wood and coal is provided for the various stoves/AGA.
Both houses are fully equipped with cooking facilities; The Old Bakery has a coal aga which is fully functional.
Both houses have new washing machines, halogen cookers, microwaves, power showers and baths.
There is a large garden and plenty of room for children to play and adults to relax.
Ample parking.
