• Each building had a specific purpose when the property was run as an estate in Victorian times.
• Mansion Kitchen (photo on right), which is the remaining part of the original mansion and Number One which used to be part of the servants' quarters are currently available for holiday lets.
• The original cellars of the mansion have been converted into a large (but not yet heated) outdoor swimming pool.
• Owned by Giles Chaplin, who has run an antique and architectural salvage business for the last forty years, Dolwilym is a beautiful crumbling estate with original features and bizarre sculptures and architectural objects scattered about the place.
• This Estate is a perfect hideaway for artists, writers, academics, musicians, groups of friends, families in search of adventure and other creative sorts.

Services  

• Bed linen and towels provided.
• We provide one load of wood, please let us know if you require more and we will be happy to provide at an extra charge.
• Both houses are fully equipped with cooking facilities; No1 has an aga which is fully functional. We provide coal to keep it going if necessary.
• There is one washing machine in the laundry room which is shared between both houses.
• There is a large garden and plenty of room for children to play and adults to relax.
