  • Each modern stone built holiday cottage and the Darwin Lake complex itself is a purpose designed small holiday village.
  • Designed with the holidaymaker in mind to ensure you have everything you need on hand, for a relaxing break in the popular Peak District holiday location.
  • Corporate activity breaks now available.
  • There are cottages sleeping from 2 to 9 guests and up to 92 people can be accommodated in total.

PEAK DISTRICT AND DARWIN LAKE  

  • Darwin Lake is surrounded by Forestry land and sits between craggy moorland with lovely panoramic views, and the Derwent Valley World Heritage Site.
  • Less than 6 miles away are Chatsworth Hall and Estate - home of The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, Haddon Hall, Peak Steam Railway, Bakewell, Matlock Bath's Heights of Abraham cable cars, Arkwright's Mill, and Gullivers Kingdom theme park.
  • A little farther afield are Alton Towers theme park, outdoor activity centres and Carsington Water, a highly popular watersports and wildlife centre with cycle hire and restaurant.
  • There are also ample shopping opportunities in the Peak District.
  • Riding, golf, and Matlock's shops, galleries, Inns and restaurants 3 miles.
