Darley Cottage is a traditional stone built cottage well positioned almost opposite Appleton Hall. It is well equipped to accommodate 4 persons and has central heating throughout.
Downstairs: New kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Dining room with traditional oak cottage furniture. Sitting room with open fire, TV with Teletext, and DVD player. New bathroom with WC, Bath, Shower. Upstairs: Bedroom with double bed and furniture. Bedroom with two single beds and furniture. WC with basin and shaver point. Sheets may be hired at £10 per bed and towels at £2.50 per person. You may bring your own sheets and towels. Outside: To the rear is a sizeable enclosed garden. Secure storage for bicycles is available. Appleton-le-Moors is a single street village of medieval origins with houses mainly of the 1700s - 1900s. It is situated on the southern edge of the North York Moors National park, 3 miles from Kirkbymoorside. It offers a peaceful and secluded moor-edge retreat in beautiful and unspoiled countryside.
