Charming village house, half 1730. Tywardreath, once seashore is the setting for Daphne Du Maurier's "House on the Strand", near Menabilly, "Mandalay" in "Rebecca" at Polkerris Cove en route to the ancient Port of Fowey. - Eden is 10 mins. Fishing village Mevagissey, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown ("Poldark") and Lostwithiel, once Cornwall's capital, are all close.
