Set in 22 acres, Cwrt-y-Gaer is a Welsh longhouse on the site of an Ancient Hilltop Fort, with panoramic views over rolling countryside to Welsh mountains, the perfect holiday spot to rest or roam, listen to and watch wildlife. - Only nine miles from the Severn Bridge and easily reached from the M50.
- Wide range of outdoor activities - golf, canoeing etc, bird of prey centre, farm park, museums, Tintern, castles, theatres, market towns and cathedral cities within easy reach.
- Walking in Forest of Dean, Welsh forestry and hills or beside the Rivers Usk and Wye.
The Accommodation Three well equipped self catering units in converted stone buildings, two having oak beams, the third being specially designed for wheelchair users. Each has a twin bedded room with shower room, a comfortable open plan well appointed kitchen, dining and living room with a double sofabed. Electricity, heating, linen and towels included in tariff. Moated half acre garden with many mature trees is shared and has pathways leading to paddocks. Barbecue. There is a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, ironing facilities and payphone. Table tennis, snooker and darts in the adjacent barn. Pets are very welcome (at no extra charge).
