A superb hilltop hideaway, Cwm Mawr is the perfect retreat for those looking to get away from it all. Dating back more than 300 years, this cosy yet spacious detached farmhouse retains its original oak beams and inglenook fireplace and is comfortably furnished to the highest of standards. Set at the heart of a 400 acre farm, Cwm Mawr is within the Snowdonia National Park yet the coast at Criccieth or Porthmadog is just a 15 minutes drive away. Breathtaking views of Cardigan Bay, Porthmadog estuary towards Portmeirion and mountains of Snowdonia can be enjoyed from every window in the house. Cwm Mawr can provide the perfect base for an activity-packed summer holiday but also has so much to offer those seeking a quiet or romantic winter break. Guests can enjoy a walk along one of the many footpaths which form a network across the farmland or even visit the nearby village of Tremadog for a pub lunch before spending the evening relaxing by a cosy log fire.
Here's what our guests had to say: "Staying here for the week has been out of this world... having the privilege of staying on your farm has made it extra special, offering the most breathtaking views, tranquility and a very well presented house...." Daniel, Portsmouth
"We thought we'd gone to heaven....." Oxfordshire couple
