Phrases plucked from our Visitors' Book give you an inkling of the welcome awaiting you in Curlew Cottage, Burghead, a village on the Inner Moray Firth. From the cottage it is but a stone's throw to the working harbour, beach, forest, headland, pub or to your morning paper and fresh buttery rolls.
Accommodation: Bedroom 1: Double bed with King size duvet in tog values to suit the season, fitted wardrobe unit. Bedroom 2: 2 single beds, duvets. Fitted wardrobe unit. Cot on request (September to March) Flat sheets provided. All Linen, towels and tea towels including 2 towels for use on beach! Lounge-dining room - Comfortable, sunny, relaxing room. TV, VCR, DVD, CD player, books, board games. Kitchen - fully fitted, convenient and very well equipped, as befits a 4 star property - washer-dryer, ceramic hob cooker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine. Bathroom: Bath with Grohe shower over.  Heating: - Oil central heating throughout.

 Location: - Moray is a place of civilized solitude. Explore ancient Pictish Burghead, nearby castles, the waymarked paths of the Moray coast and forests or the Spey and Findhorn rivers. Try a round of golf at a different course each day!
- A mere hour's drive takes you to Loch Ness or the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. You may like to do the whisky trail or some retail in world famous visitor centres, like Johnstons Cashmere or Baxters. Eat well in restaurants using local produce.
