If you are looking for a genuine get away from it all holiday Culswick Crofthouse Apartments are sure to satisfy. The traditional croft house is situated within the remote settlement of Culswick on Shetland's West Mainland.

Culswick has a range of archaeological and natural attractions. The apartments overlook a narrow green valley (designated SSSI) which meets the sea with a picturesque storm beach, 5 minute walk away. There are spectacular cliff walks and beaches close by where a variety of seabirds can be spotted, watch out for the Arctic Terns and Great Skuas. The beaches and cliffs are also good places for seal watching and you may be lucky enough to catch sight of an otter. Whales have also been spotted in the area. If it is fishing you are after there are a variety of ideal fresh water lochs nearby. For the budding archaeologist there is a Pictish Broch, standing stone and numerous traditional croft remains near to the accommodation to explore.

Its recent and sympathetic restoration ensures the apartments are equipped to the highest standards while retaining many of its traditional features. The apartments are on one level with ramp access.
