For a real 'get away from it all' holiday, Luing offers a fabulous setting for a tranquil break surrounded by the beauty of Scotland. Formerly a slate island, Luing lies 17 miles south of the town of Oban a major gateway to the Highlands and Islands. - The cottage, which was once lived in by slate workers, is situated in Cullipool, one of only two villages on the island.
- The detached house is compact and cosy and offers a high standard of accommodation for a couple or two people and is well equipped for contemporary living.
 - Outside a separate garden area with raised deck, offers visitors the chance to sit and enjoy fabulous sea views across to Mull and at night, dramatic sunsets.
- Alternatively, you can explore the island on foot or bicycle, visit the beaches and little coves and watch the famous Luing cattle, otters, hares, birds of prey, wild deer and the many other wildlife that live on Luing.
- A regular car ferry means you can leave the island to explore Argyll and Bute, play golf at the local 9 hole course, visit gardens or castles, take a boat cruise, enjoy a drink at Oban's own distillery or explore the many shops the town offers, before returning to Luing.
The cottage comprises: Sitting room with wood burning stove, flat screen digital TV + DVD player. One double bedroom (1 double + 1 single bed) accessed via a narrow staircase with seating area, cupboards, flat screen digital TV.
