Location
The hamlet of Ord is in the south of Skye, one of Scotland's most beautiful west coast Hebridean islands. Ord is four miles from the main road and seven from the nearest pub and shop -just a few houses, a beautiful safe shore with abundant wildlife, breathtakingly beautiful and secluded.
The Sleat peninsular where Ord is situated is known as the garden of Skye.
The village of Armadale is nearby, where the ferry runs to the mainland and on to the islands of Eigg and Rum. Armadale is also home to the Clan Donald Centre and Sabhal M r Ostaig, the Gaelic College.
