Croughly Farm lies in a picturesque valley two miles from the village of Tomintoul in the heart of the Grampian Highlands.
Situated midway between Aberdeen and Inverness, Tomintoul is an excellent base for exploring the North East of Scotland.
Croughly Farm is part of the Crown Estate lands. In recent years the Estate have created a network of footpaths and cycle trails in the area including the Speyside Way which passes through our farm.
Accommodation The 16th Century wing of the farmhouse has been renovated and converted into a comfortable self-catering cottage. Accommodation in the cottage, which has electric heating throughout, comprises:
Ground Floor: Comfortable lounge with open fire (coal and peat are included in the rental). Television, DVD and video. Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher (access to deep freeze). Utility room with washing machine and drier. First Floor: Double bedroom. Twin bedroom. Bathroom with bath, wash hand basin and WC. Extra folding bed available. Facilities: Towels and bed linen are provided. Electricity included in rental. Private water supply.
