is a small traditional Northumbrian steading where two cottages are available to rent individually, or alternatively can easily be transformed into a single unit to accommodate up to twelve people. Our aim is to provide the highest standard of comfort in the most extraordinary setting. This is the place for those who seek tranquillity, clear unpolluted skies and big scenery.

• The property has recently been adapted to take full advantage of the unique view into the College Valley and the Cheviot National Park.
• All bedrooms have an en suite or adjoining bathroom, all linen and towels provided.
• We have a ground floor bedroom and bathroom equipped for the less agile.
• Crookhouse can accommodate both dogs and horses. We have several kennels and dogs are allowed in the utility area of each cottage.
• Stables and grazing are available and we have direct access to several bridle paths some of which will lead you to beautiful and isolated areas of this special part of the world.

Location  

• We are within easy reach of Northumberland's renowned beautiful coastline, with its miles of quiet sandy beaches, and are surrounded by fascinating historic sites, castles and monuments.
• The renowned Alnwick castle and gardens are within 1/2hr drive, as is Floors Castle and Kelso Racecourse.
• If you are looking for more sporting action then we can point you in the right direction of such things as Horse-riding and all Country Sports, as well as Golf, Boating, Gliding, Cycling, Walking etc.

The manager lives nearby and can help with directions, bookings for activities, catering etc. and is on hand to ensure your holiday is memorable.
